Then Jesus said,”Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and i will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28
Welcome to Harbor of Hope Ministries.
We’re so glad you stopped by.
Take a look around and you’ll find that we’re not your typical neighborhood church. We think of ourselves as a hospital for those who have been wounded by broken relationships, unexpected challenges, unfair expectations, and unexplained sorrow. We realize that only God—with His infinite power and love—can offer the promise of true and lasting healing.
Our mission is simple, we want to live our lives in such a way as to point you to the promise in Matthew 11:28 (NLT), where Jesus said, “Come to me, all of you who are weary and carry heavy burdens, and I will give you rest.”
We are an interdenominational fellowship comprised of a multi-cultural congregation. Our format consists of dynamic praise and worship combined with practical Biblical teaching. In every service lives are changed as people accept God’s offer of salvation, experience healing and deliverance, and develop a meaningful relationship with Jesus Christ.
At Harbor of Hope, we’re not only concerned with the health and well-being of those who walk through our doors. Our vision to share the good news of God's Word extends to the more than 600,000 people residing within Polk County—which is the largest county in Florida.
Let’s be honest; life is too difficult to face alone. We invite you to join us as we follow Jesus and discover the answers to life’s most troubling issues.

When you think of the third commandment in terms of lifestyle, beyond mere words or thought ,"Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain: for the LORD will not hold [him] guiltless that taketh his name in vain." It becomes evident that "we exist to give honor to his name." Our lifestyle should elevate the name and reputation of our Father and our actions should reflect the love, grace and mercy we receive. So love as you are loved for the gift of love is the greatest gift of all.
